Still "amped" up on the beauty of the forest we left the skull behind and soon I spotted this rock that reminded me of an alligator.  Then I thought of the Hawaiian Mo`o, or lizard.  The mo'o has been described as a lizard of monstrous size somewhere between 12 and 30 feet, with a glistening black body.  He's up there on the side of the hill guardian of the Wai`anae Ramble Trail.  Much better thought than an alligator.  :-)

Some where beyond the Mo`o and along the trail is a terraced area held level by a massive wall.  This is the low end corner.  The high end cornor about 100 feet around the cornor is about 7 feet high.  How did they move such huge rocks?  A little help from a friendly Mo`o?

That's it gang.  We were back at my truck after an easy 5 hour, 2.8 mile hike in beautiful Wai`anae Valley.
