Gene was the first to wiggle in through the small opening. While he was exploring I began to make the opening a bit larger. You can watch that here on this You Tube video.
I soon got down on my belly and "slithered" in. Care to watch me "slither"?
After about 50 feet of crawling on my hands and knees in the tunnel I was able to stand.
This picture shows a massive dike cut by the tunnelers. The tunnel 140 feet long once produced about 51.000 gallons a day until it dried up when Tunnel #19 tapped the same water sources.
