We headed down the gulch back to the Ramble Trail and followed to the stairs. There we took the Bail Out trail a short distance to tunnel 6A which is under the road. It is said to be 162 feet long and once produced over 18,000 gallons a day. We found the entrance silted up and the tunnel seemed to be full of water which slowly seeped out through the silt.
We move some of the debris and again Gene crawled into the tunnel.
