Gene took this of Mike playing in the stream. What is shown in this picture is the beginning of the stream. Once upon a time there was a tunnel here. I'm guessing that there once was a spring here and the plantation tapped it by digging a tunnel. Over the years of none use the entrance caved in. This tunnel must have had one heck of a lot of water coming out of it when dug and you'll see evidence of this later in this tale. Anyway back to Mike. He created two small pools at the beginning of the stream hoping to get clear water the next time he returns. Of course that won't be for over a year I'll bet and by then the cattle will have destroyed his work.
