After a while walking on the trail in the last picture we cut off on yet another finger ridge toward the tunnel.  This finger ridge is also heavily forested w/Eucalyptus.  The trail is pretty overgrown.

After a while on the finger ridge we hit the trail that leads to the tunnel exit.  It once was a beautiful contour trail.  Now little is left of the flat foot path.  The cut bank can still be found on your left as you go down if you reach in through the Uluhe.  The once level foot path is covered in silt and at perhaps a 30 degree angle.  The trail was no where as badly overgrown as it was 2 years ago when Scott, Ed and I cleared it.  It only took about 15 minutes to reach the tunnel.  Here is Michael followed by Kevin.
