Enough history. Dan picked me up about 8:30 this morning and we took off for Makaha. He had to drive over to pick me up because the safety inspection on my truck expired and I can't get past the guard where he lives. Anyway here is a map of our adventure for the day. The solid lines are paved BWS roads. The dotted lines are the foot trails and the short section of dash lines are an old road from the days of the Makaha Ranch, or what's left of the road.
This was taken on the old ranch road. It is overgrown with grass and weeds by you can see how wide it once was.
