On the way back we spoted this goat skull.  Death on the ridge, not in the valley.

We took a lower trail and found some old ribbons, but they were far apart and the trail was pretty much gone.  We struggled  thru tall grass on a 45 degree slope w/lots of rocks hidden under the grass.  By noon we were pretty sure that we were on the right track, but going on would take "for ever" due to the condition of the trail.  We ate lunch and then busted a trail straight down what was now the left side of Death Valley utill we hit the morning trail.  Below is a Google Earth photo of the adventrue.  The track or yellow circles was our counter clock-wise path.  The part still to be done is in white.  As Arnold and MacArther both said "I'll Be Back".  Oh wait the General said "I Shall Return".  :-)
