After passing "Jury's Tree" I continued to the crest of Kaua`opu`u Ridge where the clear skies produced some nice views of Lualualei. Behind Pu`u Ka`ilio (The Dog) the southern half of the Wai`anae Range stretches into the distance. Below the summit the shear cliffs of the southern Lualualei Pali can be seen.

This is the northern end of the Lualualei Pali. Mr. Marcus is thinking about trying to climb here. I'd recommend a long rope thrown down from the summit and a climbing harness.
