I made a map showing the Kahana Ditch portion colored in blue. The Ditch Man Trail is in black, and the yellow is the track showing how far I got today. I believe the advance group only got to the crest of the second ridge beyond the yellow. It's a long way to the end of the Kahana portion of the system
The Kahana section of the "ditch" is mostly tunnels and is about 1.9 miles in length. The Ditch Man Trail on the other hand is closer to 3.7 miles. I'm NOT counting the access distance from the hunter check in station.
