As we headed up stream we came across many low agricultural terraces.  We tried to take paths that would not lead to degradation of the walls.  In this case there was a passage between two sections of the wall and that's the way we went.  It's a panorama so scroll to see it all.  The vegetation here is either coffee or satin leaf.  Once the entire trail is laid out we plan to clear about 5 feet on either side of the trail where it crosses a terrace so the hiker can see the work that went into it's construction.

One spot we passed through was littered w/old cans of spam and Vienna sausage, looks like hunter trash.  But there was also dozens of old Budweiser beer cans, and I know hunters don't carry in this amount of beer.  Perhaps someone was "living" in the area some time ago.  Perhaps we'll look around more for clues another day.
