We headed down around 12:25 and were back at the towers in 3 hours. Here Alan is looking back from where we came.
We got back to the rock face in no time at all. Gene went down first followed by me and then Jane and Stanka. We tied a safety rope around the ladies waists and Leo and Alan both let out slack as the ladies climbed down. HERE is a video of Stanka coming down.
The rain began to come down harder after we were all down off the rock face. We still had to be carful going down the other rops, perhaps 250 of them in various places. By the time we hit the bottom of the ridge and were back on the main valley trail we were all pretty WET, but happy to have reached the top and survive without any injuries.
