We walked up the crest for a short way and then took a side trail down the other side of the ridge. We lost about 300 foot of elevation here and along the way we were hiking on an old Hawaiian Electric Road in another Iron Wood forest.
Along the way we crossed a small gulch with this small pools of water from the last rain.
