We dropped about 400 feet from the lunch spot to this old road.  There was a "stream" flowing in the left "rut" of the road.  In places it seemed to be oozing down the left slope.

We were often hiking in small groups after lunch, but the trail to the tunnel was a bit confusing and so we sort of waited until a number of people were together.   The huge light trunked trees are albizias.  Along the road were also many Chinese Fan palms as well as Cuban Royal palms.
