Along the way to 3 Poles someone got this nice picture of an "Uki Uki" fruit. It is a native plant. The broad leaf does not go along w/the fruit.
We took a short break at 3 Poles. Jane, Allan, and Christian were the first to arrive. I made my best time to this point. An elevation gain of 2200 feet in 1 hour and 50 minutes.
The three "speedsters" just above 3 Poles. The rest of us would not see them until we topped out at the summit.
