A few hundred feet below the topping off point on a relatively level spot I stopped and shot another panorama of Wai`anae (left) and Makaha Valleys. For a little more "action" I also did a VIDEO here.
The summit of Mt. Ka`ala is a Natural Area Reserve protecting native Hawaiian plants. Those who enter are asked to clean there boots to minimize the introduction of non-native plants.
