Dianne looking into Wai`anae Valley. Somewhere down there is where we began this morning.

We walk mauka along the crest for about 10 minutes enjoying much native vegetation. Then there is the section that burned off back in I think 2004. It is slowly coming back w/the native Koa, but there is also a ton of none native grasses that seem to be taking over the ridge top. Well at least they are holding the soil in place during heavy rain. When we reach the trail to Banana Falls we left the crest and entered Makaha Valley.
