Heading makai along the crest for a minute or two brings you to a clearing where some nice pictures of both valleys can be taken. This is Makaha, with Mt. Ka`ala in the distance. The close up below this shows a waterfall known as Pueo Falls. Pueo is Hawaiian for owl.
