It started to cloud up and get misty in the distance as we walked along the Wai`anae Summit Trail (WST). This panorama covers from Pearl City and Waipahu all the way to Diamond Head with the main feature being Pearl Harbor.
This is the native Naupaka Kuahiwi. There is a similar looking flower growing along the coast line called by the Hawaiians, Naupaka Kahakai. There is a legend concerning the two and you can read it HERE.
