Another shot of the first area we cleared. This was two terraces each about 10' x 20'. Anything I could cut with my 35" lopper came down. Larger stuff would have to wait for a chain saw which I just bought. NO, is was not taking a leak over there.
This is about as much as was cut in this area. The thick trunk tree just in front of the really big but dead tree is an avocado and we decided to leave it there. Who knows it may produce good fruit someday. Although we did not remove any of the leaf litter we saw no sign of any artifacts to date the site.
