A few minutes past Tunnel #19 we come to a set of stairs made of lava rock. If you look around you'll see terraces and many exotic plants growing here. I've been told that this is the site of a vacation home for the plantation manager in the past. Here the Ramble and Water Works trails split again. The Ramble goes up the stairs the WW straight ahead.
A few minutes past the stairs we come upon a jeep road. This is the same road that we started on early this morning. This time we'd be going down for a while. After a short walk on the road we come to a place where the road is always muddy. There are springs on the right that seep water down and across the road. There is also another tunnel here that is used by the BWS and is sealed. This is plantation tunnel #6.
