Around 10:40 I caught up w/Tom and a couple. Sorry I didn't get their names. They were waiting/resting at the point where the Rim trail leaves the Waiau Trail turning to the right/south (1350'). A few minutes later I took this picture. It was nice to be going down hill for a change.
