Well today we brought 100 feet of a good nylon 3/8" rope. Last month Dan said he went up the rock face on Tiki Ridge w/out a rope and now it was my turn to go first up a steep slope. It wasn't to bad. My steel cleats dig into the soil and my fingers found something to hold on to. Here I am at the tree. Now to get the rope out of my pack and tie it off for Dan to follow.
