Dan reached the spot we call the horse shoe first. It's a narrow spot shaped like a horse shoe, a little box cannon that sort of dead ends the trail we had been following. In this picture there is a way to climb to Dan/s left and get above the horse shoe. This was as far as we got 10 days ago as we had no ropes.
