On the way up the Kumaipo Trail we came across this neet mushroom.
After a climb of about 2 hours we reached the crest of Kamaileunu Ridge. There we took a snack break and then began following the GPS down into Makaha. Along the "trail" we came across a number of trees with their roots exposed. The trees are quite old and I believe the soil was once higher and has been washed away by heavy rain.
