Dan and I started up the road in Wai`anae under misty light rain. There was this nice rainbow below Pu`u Kawiwi. (picture by Dan).
All of a sudden a helicopter was heard and then seen right under the rainbow. Turns out they were carrying supplies up to a group putting up a fence on Kamaileunu to keep feral pigs out of an area of endangered native plants.
