Danny and I decided to explore Hobb's Ridge this week. Hobb's Ridge is know to the local hunters as Snake Ridge even though there are NO SNAKES in Hawai`i. It is possible to climb Hobb's all the way to the Wai`anae Summit and we were ready to try today. He arrived around 8 a.m. and I was still making lunch. After shooting the bull for a while we piled into his little Geo and headed up into Wai`anae Valley. Here is a map of the area we were going to explore. We went up the trail marked in black and came down the orange trail.
