Another 15 minutes and we were back on the Ramble Trail. This is the same pipe that crosses over Kanewai Dam #2. The water pouring out of the pipe flows into the stream bed and much lower at Kanewai Dam #1 is diverted into a pipeline to feed the Kalo terraces at the Ka`ala Learning Center.

We leave the Ramble Trail where it wraps around Hobb's Ridge (1800'). This is a pictures place with the large Agave plants and the light barked Lemon Gum Eucalyptus trees. If you crush the leaves you get a strong lemon scent. If the wind is rustling the leaves just right the air is filled w/the scent of lemon.
