We reached the fire break road around 11:50 and ate lunch at the usual spot. Fifty minutes later we headed back along the road. A short hike of 35 minutes and we were at the junction w/a road to the right that would take us back to our car/trucks. The hike up the road took about 20 minutes. There we settled in for a great snack provided by Mabel.
