Around 11 a.m. we crested one more ridge and found that across the next gulch was a main ridge with A LOT of Uluhe on its side. The down side of our ridge was also covered in Uluhe. Rather than fight down and up to the next ridge we decided to head mauka on the ridge we were on. Makai of us we could see the ventalation building for the tunnels. Here you see Dayle thinking the situation over.
So off we went, up......
