There is a "dam" on Kalalula which means that it did flow strongly or the plantation would not have built the dam.
Crossing from or should I say connecting Kalalula valley to Ekaha valley is this short tunnel dug/blasted by the plantation. There is a water pipe running through this 100 foot long tunnel.
For those not wanting to go through he tunnel there is a trail leading up and over the ridge. Here I'm tying the irrigation hose to a strong tree to aid people coming down this steep slope.
