On the point of Hobb's Ridge the last blockage for the day is taken care of. While Peter and I worked on this one Dusty went a few hundred yards down the trail and cut a few more of the smaller ones.

Once Peter finnished this one he decided he'd had enough. It was a about 2:15 and he was getting tired of working that big saw. I went down the trail to find Dusty. Along the way I heard this loud buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Looking about 20 feet up in a dead tree were lots of bees. We'll have to remember to mark this tree so hikers don't bring down a swarm on their heads and what ever else is exposed.

We headed down Hobb's Ridge to the BWS road and followed it back to my truck. It took about 1 hour to get back. We'd been on the trail for about 5 hours covering about 3 miles. Back at my house the saws were transfered back to Peter's car and we then enjoyed some cool drinks before the two headed back to "civilization" :-)
