Along the way Dan spotted some Pipiau growing on a rotting branch from a Kukui Nut tree.
The trail we followed along the stream has been used a lot by pigs. Humans had been here before as we could see old "cuts" on many guava, allspice, coffee and ti plants. Soon another fall came to view, and at this point it time we just called it Fall #2. I have this shot w/Dan in it to give you some idea of the height. At this point we were 2 hours and 35 minutes into the hike.
