For years I thought this was Ptychosperma caryotoides. Then I looked it up in one of my books and found out that P. caryotoides is a single trunked palm. So what is this? I took seeds from some botanical garden here in the islands many many years ago. Either I mixed up tags or it is a hybred. Either way it is growing nicely and fruiting for a few years.
