In March of 2006 I found a Dypsis pembana in a 5 gallon pot for a great price which today in 2007 I can't remember.  I'm sure it was less than $30.

I decided to plant it here on Kong's Hill.  To insure good drainage I dug a trench and filled it w/red cinder as you can see in the following photos.

I took it out of the pot and  carefully placed it in the hole.  I then ran the irrigation to the new "baby".
