This lovely palm is endemic to wet forests in Thailand. The trunk can reach heights of 15 feet w/a diameter of 8 inches.
I believe this is one palm that I raised from an RPS seed. It went into the ground in September of 2005 and has really taken off in the last year.
And now just a little over 2 more years (Feb 2008)
About another year and a half passes and we now have this in July of 2009.
