This beautiful palm is endemic to Cuba. It can be found growing on Savannas and in open woodlands. The trunk can reach a height of 40 feet with a diameter of 2 feet.
This was another 1998 purchase from Kapoho Palms in a conetainer. It went into the ground in 1999.
Two years later it pretty much doubled in size.
