Did a little work in the lower right hand corner of this picture and planted a small Hong Kong Orchid tree.
I'm a slow worker. It's now the 29th of September and I'm just about finished. The paved area is pretty clean and free of junk, I've edged the pavement w/some cement blocks and created another bed for crotons which will create a hedge someday to separate the parking from the palms. Brought in a lounge chair with thoughts of sitting in the shade. The only problem is the Java Plum keeps dropping purple fruits on the chairs.
For now this is picture taken on Oct 7th, 2008. If you look hard you can see a small Areca vestiaria, yellow behind the stump in the forgrounds. Can't wait for things to begin to grow and for the new mulch to change color to match the first batch.
Here is a close up of the A. vestiaria.
