Woke up full of energy and went back to work. This time I had to make a much wider raised bed and really dig out a whole bunch of silt from the stream bed. Here is a before shot and it is a panorama giving you a better idea of what is going on. Sorry about the "blending" of the two photos not coming out to good. In case you are wonder what's with that long pole across the stream, it is a "lamp post" that I found on the property when I bought it. I have no idea where it came from, but I found it use full to span the stream and run a water line through it.
The first step was to cut back the Be Still Tree so I could walk under it.
