Manana Trail Clearing

6th hike this year - 9 miles covered today

Today Dave, Stanka and I left the security of the West Side and headed for Pearl City where we would help the HTMC clearing crew work on the Manana Ridge trail.  The trail is about 11 miles round trip to the Ko`olau summit.  Dave did it all by blasting fast along the uncleared trail and working only on the upper portions.  Stanka and I worked on the middle section and did not summit although we were only about 3/4 of a mile from it.
