Wai`anae Wandering W/Dan

Wednesday November 24th, 2010

For those of you who have taken the Hobb's Ridge bail out trail, you know it takes you to the BWS road about 1/4 mile from the "Junction" on the BWS road.  For years Dan has been talking about a side trail from the bail out that would take you closer to the "Junction".  Today we explored a trial using routes taken by pigs.  Under new DLNR rules we can't make new trails w/out a permit so we just went where the pigs went and hung a few ribbons to mark the path.

It's a nice trail and one spot along the way we ran into some native Ilima, A`ali`i and Ko`oko`olau.

Below you'll find a few pictures  of our adventure.

Working our way up from the road thru the sisal.  Hey Dan, turn around, no one wants to see a picture of your butt.
