The third clue was "A collapsed star". Gene and Alan worked on this and decided that a collapsed star would create a Black Hole and that meant a water tunnel. Gene took the star to mean we should look at the tunnels by the Star Trek trail, even though we were only about five minutes from a deep dark tunnel. Alan convinced him that we should start at the close one in case he was wrong about Star Trek.
So that's me heading into the cave, Gene is ahead of me and behind me will be Alan and Joseph.
