Jane and I slowly worked our way along the KST. Two of the "spooky" spots can be seen in this and this video. Around noon we reached the point where we would leave the KST and head down the north ridge of Kuli`ou`ou Valley and in time return to my truck. This is the last shot of the windward coast for the hike. The peak in the middle is Olomana and if you click on the peak you'll get a closer view.
Now looking leeward "south" from the summit this is Koko Crater.
And way, way off in the distance if you look hard you can see Moloka`i. There were times we could also see Maui, but it didn't photo well.
