Around 11 a.m. we came across this dead Ohia Lehua tree that had fallen across the trail. We got out our trusty hand saws and with all of us taking turns we cut thru the hard wood of the tree. See John and Gerald hard at work HERE.
The trail is named after this large Halapepe tree, but it's not looking to healthy right now.
