As we headed out Daniel spotted this small Koki`o ke`oke`o (Hibiscus arnottianus). This has a large white flower which is quite beautiful. There were two slightly larger plants close by.
This strange looking growth is Pepeau an edible fungus. We found one spot w/quite a lot and I took some home which at the moment is in a slow cooker w/some home grown breadfruit and other ingredients. Yum Yum.
