This would be our 4th trip into Pear Gulch this year and the second w/Nathan and Daniel. This valley is magical w/the large number of Native Hawaiian plants that grow there. This is just a sample of what we saw this trip.

This native Ala`Ala wai nui, (Plectranthus parviflorus) is very common in dry area growing on rocks or in the cracks of rocks.
