Climbing high above the magic spot w/the boulders and King Kong himself we "attacked" the ridge. As of yet there is no name for the trail above the King as we have not completed it. If we do, then Gene who did most of the clearing will get to name it.
As you can see in this picture the climb above King Kong is very steep. Some of the following will also bring this point into view. It's kind of scary, as the ground was wet and some of the rocks were crumbly and broke loose when stepped on. A fall would hurt, but thanks to the vegetation you wouldn't go as far as say on Hobb's Ridge.
