We begin going up the ridge to King Kong by clearing the trail Gene and I made back in February. This time we marked it w/red ribbons.
About 1/2 way up the ridge to the "King" there is a small clearing where I took the next two photos.
This is a panorama of the north wall of Makaha Valley with the sharp peak of O`hikilolo in the center. Look at the colors. Why would anyone live anywhere else?
