I made it to that "level" section mentioned on the last page. Here below me the view was fantastic. All the houses on the left are the area known as Enchanted Lake. To the right of the small hill to the right of the houses is Bellows Air Force Base which is used for recreation and sometimes by the Marines for a place to practice sand beach landings. Further right is the community of Waimanalo and in the distance the peak of Makapu`u. This is a panorama so please do scroll to the right.
After leaving the back of peak 3 we headed for a lunch spot. On a small peak with little shade most of us sat down to lunch and to enjoy the breeze and the great 360 degree view. Although not 360 degrees the next panorama does show off the Waimanalo Pali and then the Maunawili Pale as you go from left to right.
