The pave road is short leading to a water tank. From their we walk perhaps another 1/2 mile along what once was a dirt road and now is just a trail. This tree has the common name of Octopus tree as a close look at it's flowers reminds one of the sucker on the arms of an octopus. It's scientific name is Schefflera actinophylla and it is a weed here in the islands. Pretty but still a weed as it can take over areas where natives might be growing.

Here a passion fruit hangs on a vine. Some types of this edible fruit are also weeds climbing all over and choking natives in some places.
