These terraces are quite old, but most likely "post contact". I believe they served as some sort of camp for the workers who blasted the near by tunnels looking for water for the sugar plantation close to 100 years ago. We found lots of broken bottles here.
Look at all the avocados. This is only one branch from one tree. This area is loaded w/fruit and in a month or two it's going to be a bonanza harvest if we can figure how to get them down from the trees.
